During the wedding at Cana, Jesus miraculously turned water into wine--and not just any wine, but the best wine. Before that, Mary told the servants to do everything Jesus told them, and they did. Normally, with the passing of time, things erode, degrade, or otherwise get worse; but with Jesus, things can get better. And as in this passage, those improvements can happen in the background, out of sight. As the servants did, let us also do everything Jesus tells us to do, and let us do so out of trust, love, and gratitude.
